Born and raised in a small town in middle Georgia, Rodney Hicks developed a strong sense of community, service, and dedication early in life. At 18, he joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for more than 30 years. Throughout his military career, Rodney relocated over a dozen times, giving him firsthand experience with the challenges and emotions that come with moving. From uprooting a family to starting over in unfamiliar places across the country and around the world, he understands the stress and uncertainty that often accompany relocation.
While serving internationally, Rodney earned a graduate degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, using his education to deepen his understanding of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. His extensive experience in human resources, customer service, and leadership helped shape his commitment to the Air Force Core Values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do. Those same principles continue to serve as the foundation of his real estate business today.
When he’s not helping clients achieve their real estate goals, Rodney enjoys spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. Whether it’s a day at the beach, riding jet skis, dirt bikes, and four-wheelers, or gathering around the grill for a great meal, he values creating lasting memories with family. He also enjoys golfing, even if he admits he’s still working on his game, and tackling home improvement projects that make a house feel more comfortable and inviting.
